Nanya stated on Tuesday it’s filed a patent infringement complaint during the U.S. towards Japan’s Elpida, even more escalating the legitimate fight among the two DRAM makers.
Nanya’s complaint, which was filed using the U.S. intercontinental exchange percentage (ITC), alleges that Elpida infringed on 4 of this company’s U.S. patents. It requests how the ITC ban the purchase and import of Elpida’s DRAM goods to your U.S.
Nanya’s complaint also asks the ITC to take a look at Kingston Technology, a California-based chip distributor which has invested in Elpida during the past.
The complaint was filed just per week immediately after Elpida took a comparable actions towards Nanya during the U.S. The complaint requested how the ITC halt imports of Nanya’s goods during the U.S., declaring which they violated 7 of Elpida’s patents. Elpida also filed a fit using the Taiwan Intellectual house Court to halt profits and creation of associated Nanya products.
